Recent Grants: Reproductive Health and Rights Program

2016 Grants | 2015 Grants | 2014 Grants | 2013 Grants | 2012 Grants

The Reproductive Health and Rights Program has awarded $2 million in grants in 2016 to organizations working to advance reproductive health and rights both domestically and internationally. Fifty percent of RHRP funds were distributed to NGOs working internationally, while the other fifty percent of the program budget were used to support NGOs working in the United States to protect and advance reproductive health and rights.  A large portion of our US funding was directed towards ensuring better access to sex education. With our partners Advocates for Youth, Answer and Youth Tech Health, we are launching an online sex education resource for young adolescents called AMAZE. This video playlist, produced by young animators, is engaging, age appropriate, and fun. In addition to producing honest and engaging animated videos for very young adolescents (ages 10-14), we also envision AMAZE as a resource for parents and educators to build their comfort, knowledge and skill to more effectively engage young adolescents on topics like puberty, body image, healthy relationships and sexual health. Visit www.amaze.org for more information.
