Recent Grants: Reproductive Health and Rights Program

2018 Grants| 2017 Grants | 2016 Grants

The Reproductive Health and Rights Program has awarded $2.6 million in grants in 2018 to organizations working to advance reproductive health and rights both domestically and internationally. Fifty percent of RHRP funds were distributed to NGOs working internationally, while the other fifty percent of the program budget were used to support NGOs working in the United States to protect and advance reproductive health and rights.  A large portion of our US funding was directed towards ensuring better access to sex education. With our partners Advocates for Youth, Answer and Youth Tech Health, we launched AMAZE, an engaging, age-appropriate online sex education resource that helps 10-to 14-year-olds make sense of growing up and relationships. Since then, AMAZE videos have been complementing the learning happening in health classes and supporting parents, caregivers and educators in facilitating healthy discussions about critical sexual health topics, including challenging topics, like consent and sexual assault. In addition to AMAZE videos for 10-to 14-year-olds, the AMAZE Parent Playlist offers guidance to parents and caregivers on how to comfortably answer young people’s questions.  To date, AMAZE has released over 80 videos.  Visit www.amaze.org for more information.
